Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Question Timeline at https://questiontimeline.com and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Question Timeline lets you view optional questions, enter a name and answer, preview suggested post text, and — only if you choose — share that content to Facebook using Facebook’s sharing tools. Nothing is posted to Facebook unless you confirm the share yourself.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Your content and conduct
You are responsible for the name, answers, and any other content you submit or share (“Your Content”). You agree that Your Content will not:
- Infringe anyone’s rights (including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property)
- Be unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Contain malware, spam, or attempts to disrupt the Service
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited licence to process it only as needed to operate the Service (for example, to show your preview and to help you initiate a Facebook share you request).
4. Facebook and third-party services
Sharing to Facebook is optional and uses Meta’s platforms. Your use of Facebook is also subject to Meta’s terms and policies. We are not responsible for Facebook’s availability, features, or decisions (including content review or account actions). We do not control what happens after you confirm a share in Facebook’s interface.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law
- Use the Service to send bulk unsolicited messages or automate abusive posting
- Bypass security or access controls
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated.
6. Intellectual property
The Service’s branding, design, questions bank, software, and site content (excluding Your Content) are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. By using the Service, you also acknowledge that policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that shared posts will appear on Facebook as expected.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed £50 (or the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, if greater). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content or your misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we revise the Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may stop providing the Service or suspend access where reasonably necessary (for example for abuse, legal reasons, or maintenance).
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
